A Closer Look: Ben Shahn's Passion of Sacco and Vanzetti

Join us for a conversation with Syracuse University Art Museum curator, Melissa Yuen, and assistant professor of history and Phyllis Backer Professor of Jewish Studies, Britt Tevis, in front of Jewish American artist Ben Shahn's monumental mural, The Passion of Sacco and Vanzetti. Tevis and Yuen will dig deep into the mural's history, Shahn's life and work, and the ongoing campaign to ensure the murals conservation for future generations. Light refreshments will be served.
