Syracuse University Libraries' Special Collections Research Center (SCRC) is offering a tour for the University community of the current exhibition, Architectural Origins: Syracuse University Buildings, 1870-1970, led by the curator of the exhibition and University Archivist, Meg Mason.
Showcasing photographs, architectural drawings and plans, correspondence and other University records, postcards, and printed materials, Architectural Origins exhibits historical materials from the University Archives. Three-dimensional objects are also on display, including a piece of a bleacher from Archbold Stadium and I.M. Pei’s architectural model of the Newhouse Communications Center complex.
The tour is free and open to University community members. Spots are limited, so registration is required.
