Image of Conversations for a Kinder World: How Your Voice Can Inspire Change

Nicole Adler's journey is a testament to the power of lived experience, leadership and the courage it takes to create a more inclusive world. Her life's mission is rooted in a bold belief: love knows no boundaries. It transcends gender, race, ability and sexuality. And in Nicole's world, love isn't just a feeling—it's a force for social change.

Nicole has spent more than a decade using her voice and platform to advocate for inclusion, equality and human rights. As the first person with Down syndrome to serve as Grand Marshal of San Francisco Pride and a two-time governor-appointed member of the California State Council on Developmental Disabilities, Nicole has turned her lived experience into a powerful form of leadership.

Through her YouTube series The No No Show and her new book "With Love as Her Compass," Nicole continues to open doors, challenge assumptions and create conversations that bring people together. Her work demonstrates how storytelling and authentic dialogue can challenge stereotypes, elevate marginalized voices and inspire action.

Kicking off Disability Pride Month, Nicole will share her journey of finding her voice, using media as a platform for advocacy and discuss why conversations rooted in empathy and understanding are essential to creating a kinder world. All are welcome.
