Dissertation Defense: Alonzo Turner

The oral doctoral examination of Alonzo Turner, candidate for the Ph.D. degree,  will be held on Thursday, June 18, at 1:15 p.m. in the Barner-McDuffie House (119 Euclid Avenue) and via Zoom.

Turner’s advisor is Professor Derek Seward. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Yanhong Liu and Melissa Luke. Professor Dawn Johnson will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “A Balm in Gilead - An Interpretive Phenomenological Analysis Study on Black Millennials' Experiences of Religious Trauma.”
