The oral doctoral examination of Dustin Satterfield, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, April 9, at 1 p.m.via Zoom.
Satterfield’s advisor is Professor Rebecca Schewe. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Gretchen Purser and Jackie Orr. Professor Perry Singleton will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “That Has Been my Entire Life of Being Invalidated, LGBTQ+ and Poor: Experiences of Cis-Heteronormativity and Neoliberal Poverty Governance from Upstate New York Cities.”
