Dissertation Defense: Easton Davis

The oral doctoral examination of Easton Davis, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Tuesday, April 7, at 3:30 p.m. in 113 Euclid, room 200 and via Zoom.

Davis’s advisor is Professor Gretchen Lopez. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Eunjung Kim, Qiu Wang, and Wilson Okello. Professor Jeffery Mangram will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “Tempering the Body: An Exploration of Contemplative and Somatic Practices through Healing Circles for Black Educators.”
