Dissertation Defense: Hamed Shirmohammadi

The oral doctoral examination of Hamed Shirmohammadi, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, February 27, at 9 a.m. via Zoom.

Shirmohammadi’s advisor is Professor Kara Richardson. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Christopher Noble and Hille Paakkunainen. Professor Jeffrey Carnes will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “Avicenna on non-rational voluntary motion.”
