Dissertation Defense: Hyojeong Kim

The oral doctoral examination of Hyojeong Kim, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Wednesday, December 3, at 9 a.m. via Zoom.

Kim’s advisor is Professor Colleen Heflin. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Sarah Hamersma, and Emily Wiemers. Professor Madonna Harrington Meyer will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “Three Essays on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP): Examining External Shocks, Protective Effects, and Administrative Challenges.”
