Dissertation Defense: Mary Pagan

The oral doctoral examination of Mary Pagan, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Wednesday, June 3, at 10:30 a.m. via Zoom.

Pagan’s advisor is Professor Janet Wilmoth. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Madonna Harrington Meyer and Andrew London.  Professor Jason DeFreitas will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “Older Recent Widows’ Physical Activity Before and After Spouses’ Death: A qualitative investigation of the impact of duration and intensity of care work and social support.”
