Dissertation Defense: Minnie McMillian

The oral doctoral examination of Minnie McMillian, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, May 29, at 2 p.m. in the Marley Education Center, Room 353 and via Zoom.

McMillian’s advisor is Professor Sara Burke. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Laura Machia, and Tamara Chock. Professor Srivi Ramasubramanian will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “Scrolling Through Stress: Does Social Media-Based Vicarious Racism Shape Stress and Executive Functioning?.”
