Dissertation Defense: Sarah Hogenboom-Jones

The oral doctoral examination of Sarah Hogenboom-Jones, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Monday, May 11, at 11 a.m. in Eggers Hall, room 100 and via Zoom.

Hogenboom-Jones’s advisor is Professor Emily Thorson. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Johanna Dunaway, Jaime Settle, and Shana Gadarian. Professor Jennifer Stromer-Galley will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “Feed-ing Identity: Item Development, Observational, and Experimental Analysis to Study the Relationship Between Algorithm-Based Short Video Platforms and Identity.”
