Dissertation Defense: Sobia Paracha

The oral doctoral examination of Sobia Paracha, candidate for the Ph.D. degree,  will be held on Tuesday, August 11, at 11 a.m. in Eggers Hall, room 341 and via Zoom.

 Paracha’s advisor is Professor Brian Taylor. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Ryan Griffiths, Erin Hern, and Nausheen Husain. Professor Renee de Nevers will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “To Claim or Deny: Political Contestation and Nationalistic Rhetoric about Territories.”
