Dissertation Defense: Takunda Maisva

The oral doctoral examination of Takunda Maisva, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Life Sciences Complex, room 106.

Maisva’s advisor is Professor Jason Wiles. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Yasir Ahmed-Braimah, Sarah Hall and John Tillotson. Professor Qiu Wang will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “Characterization of the Molecular Mechanisms of Noise Stress on Developmental Plasticity in Gryllus bimaculatus & Co-teaching and Peer-Led Team Learning in Undergraduate Introductory Biology Courses Toward Expanding Participation In STEM for All.”
