Dissertation Defense: Tamara Hamilton

The oral doctoral examination of Tamara Hamilton, candidate for the Ph.D. degree,  will be held on Monday, August 17, at 10 a.m. via Zoom.

Hamilton’s advisor is Professor Dawn Johnson. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Cathy Engstrom, and Qiu Wang.  Professor Heather Lavender will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “Uncovering Barriers and Pathways: A Quantitative Critical Analysis of Black Women¿s Academic and Career Outcomes in STEM.”
