Dissertation Defense: Treasa Praino

The oral doctoral examination of Treasa Praino, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Friday, April 3, at 10:30 a.m. in Huntington Hall, room 220 and via Zoom.

Praino’s advisor is Professor Beth Ferri. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Julia White, and Susan Thomas. Professor Alan Foley will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “De-Homogenizing Inclusive Education in South Africa: How Local Onto-Epistemological Framings of Dis/Ability, Smartness, and “Successful” Inclusive Education Inform Culturally Sustaining Inclusion Practices.”
