Dissertation Defense: Xiaoxia Huang

The oral doctoral examination of Xiaoxia Huang, candidate for the Ph.D. degree, will be held on Thursday, May 21, at 2:30 p.m. in Eggers 100 and via Zoom.

 Huang’s advisor is Professor Dimitar Gueorguiev. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Margarita Estevez-Abe, Minju Kim, and Simon Weschle. Professor Haowei Wang will serve as chair of the defense. The title of the candidate's dissertation is: “Public Employment and Gendered Recruitment in China.”
