Interfaith Day of Learning and Service

Please join Hendricks Chapel as we seek to foster peace and understanding. We will be making care packages in East Syracuse with We Rise Above the Streets. Prior to the project, we will gather for a lunch and learn at Hendricks Chapel.

We Rise Above the Streets Recovery Outreach Center
Beginning with a luncheon in the Noble Room in Hendricks Chapel, participants—who will include representatives from several of Hendricks Chapel's six chaplaincies and 25 religious and spiritual life groups—will be transported to We Rise Above the Streets Recovery Outreach, a local non-profit organization that assists those in need of food, clothing, housing, and resources. Following a time of service and learning in East Syracuse, participants will receive return transportation to Syracuse University.
