Keep the Doors Open: Salvation Army Dome Drive

The Office of Community Engagement is hosting a fundraiser to support the Salvation Army Syracuse Area Services at various gates outside of the JMA Wireless Dome prior to the start of the Syracuse University football game against California.

A recent funding cut of more than $350,000 has put 11 Salvation Army programs at serious risk — programs that provide shelter, food, childcare, counseling, and stability to neighbors in our community with nowhere else to turn.

These aren't line items. They're the emergency shelter welcoming a mother and her children. The classroom where a four-year-old finds safety and support. The counseling session that keeps a family together. The senior who gets a hot meal and a familiar face.

Your gift keeps 11 vital programs running, so no family is turned away, no child loses care, and no senior is left without support.
