New Student Convocation

This special academic ceremony marks the opening of the University and the beginning of new students’ careers at Syracuse University. Convocation will include a welcome from the University Chancellor and Provost.

This event is required for all new students. Parents, families, supporters and members of the Orange community are invited to join New Student Convocation in-person or virtually. The doors open at 8:30am  Join Virtually: Visit the New Student Convocation webpage.
