Graduate students and postdoctoral scholars enrolled in any program at Syracuse University or SUNY ESF are invited to earn a Public Scholarship Certificate (PSC). Offered jointly by the Engaged Humanities Network and the Graduate School, the PSC is a non-credit certificate recognizing commitments to ethical, publicly engaged research, creative work, teaching, and programming. The certificate assists graduate students and postdocs by encouraging, supporting, and showcasing work toward the public good and by documenting critical engagement in contexts across and beyond the academy. The certificate is also intended to help graduate students and postdocs set themselves apart in diverse and competitive job markets.

Learn more about the PSC at this online info session. Engaged Humanities Network director Brice Nordquist, EHN program manager MJ Robinson, and Graduate School executive director Glenn Wright will explain what the PSC is and how it works, review the enrollment process and certificate requirements, and answer your questions.
