Tackle Hunger: Salvation Army Food Pantry Fundraiser

The Office of Community Engagement is hosting a fundraiser to support the Salvation Army Syracuse Area Service's Emergency Food Pantry at various gates outside of the JMA Wireless Dome prior to the start of the Syracuse University football game against Duke.

The Emergency Food Pantry serves 1,200 individuals a month and is seeing an increase in need. Volunteers will be collecting monetary donations either via the posted QR code or by texting TACKLE to 31333. Every dollar donated will be matched up to $5,000 by The Hayner Hoyt Corporation, doubling your impact for families in need. A donation of just $25 can provide meals for a family of four for one day. Please note that physical food items are not being collected at this event.
