Join us on Wednesday, March 25th at 5:30 PM for the 42nd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Public Memorial Lecture: “Freeganism” in a Black Diasporic Context with Dr. Bénédicte Boisseron.  Dr. Bénédicte Boisseron is Professor and Chair of the Department of Afroamerican & African Studies at the University of Michigan. She is the author of Creole Renegades: Rhetoric of Betrayal and Guilt in the Caribbean Diaspora (University of Florida Press, 2014) and Afro-Dog: Blackness and the Animal Question (Columbia University Press, 2018).
