Workshop: Assignments and Assessments in the Age of AI

This workshop will engage participants in (1) discussing how to clearly communicate with students about assignment and/or class policies regarding AI; (2) reflecting on how two researched-based effective assessment practicestransparency and scaffolding assignmentsfacilitate authentic student learning and encourage academic integrity; and (3) exploring some examples of assignments that incorporate the use of generative AI.
