These topics lie at the interface between formal theory, condensed matter physics and lattice gauge theory. The workshop will provide an arena to bring theorists from these fields together to exchange ideas and promote interaction and collaboration. It will be co-sponsored by the Quantum Institute at Syracuse University.</p>
